To route a file for review, first load the Tracker project you would like to associate your routing file with.
Click the Create Approval button at the top left of the module to advance to the next screen.
On the New Approval screen, you can configure many aspects of your review round, including setting a custom due date, the title of your approval, and more.
Due Date
Your workflow site is configured to set an automatic due date for when your approval will become due, and then overdue (late) if there are users yet to sign off and complete their review.
Use the date picker to select a custom due date if you would like to extend or shorten the review period.
Form Type
Use the form type dropdown to identify the type of file you are routing.
Code, Title, and Description
Code and title allows you to set a title for your review. Your team may have a specific naming convention such as "SKU - Brand - Number of Components" - please check with your manager if you are unsure how to title your review.
Description allows you to describe the file and review requirements to your review team. This description will be included in the email notification sent to the review team if your site is configured to do such.
Upload your Review File
Click the Choose File button to select and upload the file you would like to be reviewed.
The Approval Method will default to Real Time Proofing, which is the best way to review your file. If you find that other options are available, these are legacy approval methods and should not be used.
You can upload up to three reference files that will be available for download to your reviewers once your Approval has been created.
Review Team
Select from available system users to add to the list of people you would like to review your file. Adding a user to the review team allows them to access, comment on, and sign off on your review file. Adding a user to CC will notify the user that the file has been routed and allow them to view it, but they will not have annotation and sign off privileges.
